6.08 The Weather Channel included an interview with Green Concierge Travel as part of a short program - Smart Science: Eco Travel. The story featured Liz Wessel, owner and covered ways travelers can make each trip more eco-friendly.

2.08 - Organic honey (moons) Conscious couples can chose from eco-lodging to volunteer opportunities. Green Concierge Travel was featured in this article introducing couples to the idea of greening their honeymoons. 9.07 The International Ecotourism Conference - Urban Food Sampler Tour a success! Green Concierge Travel participated in The International Ecotourism Society - North American Ecotourism Conference September 26th - 29th, Madison WI. As a part of the conference, Green Concierge Travel partnered with R.E.A.P. - Research, Education, Action and Policy on Food Group and specifically Rachel Armstrong to put together an "Urban Food Sampler Tour". Participants tasted foods and learned about the strong food connections between farm, market and restaurant! Mary Bergin, "Roads traveled" columnist for the Capital Times covered the conference and the tour in the article - "Roads traveled: State's now a green giant in ecotourism" in the 10/6/07 Week end edition.

9.07 Wisconsin's sights are set on Earth-friendly tourism. Green Concierge Travel was mentioned in an article in USA Today (9.13.07) by Laura Bly. Laura talks about the emerging green travel/ecotravel industry in Wisconsin and some of the great features found in Wisconsin - the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center, the Dane Co. Farmer's market and Fountain Prairie Inn and Farms. The Travel Green Wisconsin program lists some 100 businesses riding the wave of ecotourism. 9.07 In Business: Madison The September 2007 issue of the magazine included an article "Green Travelers? that featured Liz Wessel and Green Concierge Travel. The article looks at ecotourism as a natural fit for Wisconsin.
